Exhibition Narrative

Context is everything; a simple image can stir our emotions and influence us in several ways. Advertising has used images to manipulate the viewer for hundreds of years, using our emotional response to the image to associate it with their products. In this exhibition, I’ve put these images into a new context. They’re abstracted from their intended use and project a new, darker theme.
